In the 2018 offseason, The Four FFL Commissioner proposed to current members an expansion. The proposal was to increase from four teams to six. All members approved of the proposal. The first person contacted about being an expansion member was Blayze Lingo. Blayze accepted the offer. Become the 5th member of the newly named The Six FFL. Blayze opted to name his team Dafakawe Tribe and went with the emblem from the Oklahoma State flag as the team's logo. Dafakawe Tribe struggled during its inaugural season. During the season the team traded for a star RB to give them a boost. Ezekiel Elliott, the 4th overall pick in the redraft by Jayhawks, was traded to Dafakawe Tribe with Demaryius Thomas for Travis Kelce. This did not improve thing for Dafakawe Tribe who only notched 4 wins onto its record. A tie for league worst. They would also go on to lose the 5th place consolation tie breaker that would land them the number one overall pick in the 2019 season.

In 2019 Dafakawe Tribe chose to keep QB Aaron Rodgers, RBs Christian McCaffrey and Ezekiel Elliott as well as WR Julio Jones. Knowing they had the first overall pick they lined up WR Davante Adams as an essential "5th keeper". Dafakawe Tribe pushed harder through the 2019 season. They earned a 6-8 record, an obvious improvement from the previous season, and earned their first ever playoff berth. By beating out Team in points, Dafakawe Tribe earned the tie breaker that gave them the 3rd seed in the playoffs and put them up against fellow expansion franchise Leroy Jenkins. Dafakawe Tribe was one of 3 teams to score over 200 points in the semifinal round of the playoffs. The Tribe fought their way into their first ever THE SIX FFL CHAMPIONSHIP with their 216 - 203 win over Leroy Jenkins. Dafakawe Tribe would go on to face Jayhawks, the team they made a major trade with in the previous season. Former Tribe member Travis Kelce scored 13 points (3 over projection) while former Jayhawk Ezekiel Elliott scored 7 points (8 under projection) in the game. Dafakawe Tribe fell in a blow out loss to Jayhawks 204-151.

2020 had a promising start. Dafakawe Tribe opted to keep 3 of the 4 keepers from 2019's keeper list. Aaron Rodgers did not make the cut in 2020 but his teammate Davante Adams  was the replacement. Dafakawe Tribe had a solid start by getting revenge on Jayhawks in a week one blow out. Dafakawe Tribe needed to make moves though. Heading into week 6 they were 2-3. The Tribe once again made a major trade with Jayhawks, sending keeper Davante Adams for Jayhawks keeper Michael Thomas who hadn't played since week 1. Things did improve from there, the Tribe won 4 more games and finished the season at 6-8, tying the previous season's record. Dafakawe Tribe also made the playoffs yet again, edging The Blentz's because of the points scored by 31 points.  Dafakawe Tribe was the 4th seed and faced top seeded Team who had a league record tying 11-3 record. Dafakawe Tribe fell well short of projections and lost to eventual champions Team in a 184-152 game. Dafakawe Tribe would go on from their to play Jayhawks in a consolation game with the the 3rd overall pick on the line. Jayhawks didn't put up much of a fight and Dafakawe Tribe earned the third place spot and the fourth overall pick 175-160.

In 2021 Dafakawe Tribe started by keeping Jonathan Taylor, Travis Kelce, Terry McLaurin and Christian McCaffrey. Despite drafting Allen Robinson in the first round, a highly touted player that seemingly did not show up for the season, Dafakawe Tribe dominated. Dafakawe Tribe was coasting to a team record for wins in a season with a 10-4 record despite trading Jonathan Taylor for Davante Adams. Dafakawe Tribe in the final couple games of the season played to win the number one seed in the playoffs for the first time in the team's history. Dafakawe Tribe finished the regular season 10-4 and in first place. They played reigning champions, 4th seed Team in the playoffs but failed to make the championship game and lost 182-150. They would play Jayhawks in the 3rd place consolation game and would win the game despite both teams playing incomplete starting rosters. Dafakawe Tribe would win and be given 3rd place and the 4th spot in the 2022 draft.
